Costa Coffee re-Launches Milton Keynes Store following complete shop re-design
Costa, the UK’s favourite coffee shop chain re-opened the doors of its Milton Keynes Midsummer Arcade coffee shop in the Centre MK on Thursday (15th August), following a refurbishment that has seen the store transformed with brand new counters, tills, flooring and furniture.
Baristas at the shop re-opened their doors in style, celebrating the refurbishment with a number of promotional in-store activities on Friday 16th August. Staff got into the spirit of the exciting re-launch by handing out drink samples, dressing-up in fancy dress as well as organising prize giveaways and vouchers for Milton Keynes Costa Coffee Club members.
The Friday re-launch event was attended by the Mayor of Milton Keynes Brian White, who met with the shop’s Barista team and customers at the Midsummer Arcade store.
Mayor White said of the refurbishment:
"I'm delighted that Costa has chosen to invest in its store, which shows a further commitment from this local employer to Milton Keynes. The baristas have made me very welcome, and everyone here is clearly impressed with the new fixtures and fittings."
The refurbishment is part of Costa’s continuous investment in its coffee shops to ensure that they remain the place for customers to enjoy a great cup of coffee, in a warm and welcoming environment.
Danny Hilliam Regional Manager in the Milton Keynes area said of the Midsummer refurbishment:
“Our Midsummer Arcade shop is one of our biggest in the region and having had the shop for ten years we wanted to continue to ensure that our customers receive great coffee within the best surroundings that Costa can offer. This shop refurbishment has taken on board customer feedback in order to improve customer’s overall experience in the coffee shop. Our Baristas have once again excelled themselves in promoting the re-launch of the shop and we look forward to welcoming our existing customers, along with some new faces into our Midsummer shop.”
Costa continues to grow in the Milton Keynes area bringing local jobs, community based support and of course a fantastic range of food and drinks to the region.
