"What if Little Richard had joined Hasil Adkins and recorded with Bill Spector, Phil's rigoddamndiculous brother, in Sanford and Son's mobile recording unit? Or, what if GG Allin had been the Svengali behind a boufannt-ed girl group, having them out-raunch anybody while maintaining sweetness and light? It might not have sounded exactly like NOBUNNY, but it definitely would have resembled the spirit.

JOHNNY THROTTLE were formed in London a decade ago by various lowlife has beens and never were's from The Parkinsons, Shakin’ Nasties, Urban Shocks, Jackoffs and Menace with the intention of playing real rock'n’roll the way it was meant to be – snotty, moronic and straight to the point. These urban mariachis were Johnny Quid (vocals, amateur dramatics), Phlegm Gibson (guitar), Uncle J Khomeni (bass) and Ricky C (bongos). They'd bang out a furious 20-minute (smoking ban-friendly) set of short and catchy Modern Lovers meet Slaughter and the Dogs meet the Electric Eels inspired mini-operas with the kind of incompetent teenage enthusiasm which only the borderline middle-aged can truly muster.

Ever since Suicide Generation exploded in London like a dirty bomb blast 18 months ago, they have morphed into various incarnations to quickly become an eagerly devoured proposition in the capital’s hi-energy rock 'n' roll scene with their chaotic and explosive shows; their attack and intent as unpredictable as their sound.

The band recently have completed their latest makeover with the additions of Gema Germeon bass guitar, along with May Mansur on drums, giving the band a boosted sexual re-balance and grounding of their raw and frenetic energy.
