UK GOLD: Olympia, Wa Post-Punk trio featuring veteran budget rocker Matt Murillo (Ka-Nives, Jewws) Forrest Peaker (Wisdom Teeth), and Vadi Eredal (Pitted Youth). Their debut single was recorded at High Command with Captain Tripps Ballsington, and Calvin Johnson at Dub Narcotic Studio. This is their latest, “Off Duty Nuns”.

THE BUZZARDS: Detroit Garage sensations comprised of Joe Burdick (The Dirtys), Maribel Restepo (Detroit Cobras) and twins Nancy and Leslie Paterra. “Tennesee” was recorded by Jim Diamond at Ghetto Recorders in Detroit, and is seeing the light of day for the first time on ‘Our Voltage’.

GERM HOUSE: Germ House is Justin Hubbard’s recording project. Justin was formerly in Boston band Turpentine Brothers. Germ House have a full length on Trouble in Mind.

THE MYRMIDONS: Ted Ottaviano and Lauren Johnson from first wave electronic pop group Book of Love join forces with vocalist Lori Lindsay (The Prissteens, Purple Wizard) on a gothy synth pop reworking of the Siouxsie and The Banshees classic, “Christine”.

DAMAGED BUG: Damaged Bug is a project by John Dwyer that we’re excited about. It’s John tinkering around with synths and making freaky and beautiful weirdo tunes when he is burnt on all the guitars from his band Oh Sees.

VIRVON VARVON: VIRVON VARVON are a London-based post punk band comprised of vets from The Jazz June, Black Time, and Candy Highway. At times tuneful and catchy, cacophonous and riotous at others (sometimes in the same song).

FREAK GENES: Experimental and poppy weirdo diy punk from England featuring Charlie Murphy of Red Cords and Andrew Anderson of Hipshakes. Debut LP on Alien Snatch Records, and a follow-up coming out later this year on Drunken Sailor.

BEASTII: Chicago based diy psych/pop trio take on The Violators anti-fascist punk classic “Summer of 81” and got the thumbs up from The Violators themselves.

MR. AND THE MRS.: From deep within the Midwest garage punk scene comes Hillsdale, Kansas Mr. and the Mrs. They contributed a Crampsian fuzz monster called “Do the Octopus”. There’s a gothy-garage / noise rock element that really elevates this whole thing.

THE PRISSTEENS: NYC Punks The Prissteens shone brightly for a few short years in the late 90's. Originally comprised of Mighty Joe Vincent of The Devil Dogs on Drums, and Lori Lindsay, Leslie Day, and Tina Canellas on guitar and vocals. They released a one-and-done major label debut with The Strangeloves Richard Gottehrer at the helm (Go-Go's, Blondie, Holly & The Italians) and they turned Joey Ramone into an obsessed superfan. They had a song in the 90's teen movie Jawbreaker, and they began to demo material for a second LP before disbanding. If you are a fan of the The Prissteens Demos & Rarities (2016) you’ll want to take note of this unissued cut, from the sessions recorded post-Scandal, Controversy, & Romance This is a first-class psych-fuzz jammer called “Stupid Nothing”

ATOMIC SUPLEX: London garage punk noiseniks with impeccable record collections comprised of obscure Japanese garage punk and Bo Diddley records. This is a cover of Diddley’s “Who Do You Love?"

BUMMERS EVE: Cincinnati garage fuzzsters turn in a garage/beat murder ballad about 3-year-old autistic boy who was murdered by his foster parents.

MR. AIRPLANE MAN: Dreamy-Los Angeles-by-way-of Boston psychedelic blues punk duo contributes new tune "Believe". Recorded with Justin Hubbard (Germ House). Drummer Tara McManus takes on lead vocal duty. Mr. Airplane Man are prepping a new LP for Sympathy for the Record Industry.
