SkyPixel Celebrates its 5th Anniversary with a Special Aerial Photo & Video Contest

DJI and SkyPixel, the world's most popular aerial photography community, announced the annual Aerial Photo & Video Contest celebrating SkyPixel's 5th anniversary. 

Running from December 3, 2019 to February 3, 2020, this contest introduces a special "Aerial Story" category to celebrate its 5th year and welcomes submissions from professional photographers, videographers, aerial enthusiasts and content creators around the globe.

This year's SkyPixel Aerial Photo & Video Contest, which is sponsored by Nikon and Western Digital Corp., consists of 9 storytelling categories in two formats, one in photography and the other in video. There is no restriction on the type or brand of aerial equipment, and participants can submit as many photos or videos as they wish.

New Fascinating Features on the Latest RoboMaster S1 Firmware Update

The end of the year brings some exciting firmware updates for the RoboMaster S1 that will boost its capabilities, enabling new fun and cool things to try. The latest set of features, that can be downloaded via the App V1.0.8, includes new scratch blocks, intercom functionalities and a conquest mode for multiplayer competitions.

New Scratch Blocks

The "Media" programming module adds "Play note" Scratch blocks enabling users to compose their own tunes which are then played back by the RoboMaster S1.

The "Smart" programming module adds "identified multi-line" info Scratch blocks, allowing the RoboMaster S1 to cross T-junctions and intersections.

Intercom

A new intercom feature now supports up to 60 seconds of playing real-time or pre-recorded audio.

Conquest

RoboMaster S1 owners can now play together in two teams of up to three players.
