Zircotec displays Liquid Black gloss coating at NEC Classic Motorshow

Visitors to Zircotec’s stand the NEC Classic Motor Show on the 11,12,13 November will get to see the firm's new gloss Liquid Black™ thermal barrier coating.  Conceived to offer a beautiful surface finish on exhaust manifolds, Zircotec has developed an enamel-like finish that offers a superb black gloss appearance coupled with the ability to lower underbonnet temperatures. The lustrous coating simulates the original factory finish used by a number classic car manufacturers including the "vitreous enamel" applied to many Jaguar manifolds, making it an excellent and more durable alternative. Zircotec will also display coated manifolds mounted on an MkVII cylinder head at it stand (number 4T16) at the Birmingham event. The company will also be featuring its expanded range of ZircoFlex™ heat resistant foils. Launched at the show two years ago, the firm now offers a growing range including self adhesive and multilayer options. It will have specialists on hand at the stand to classic car enthusiasts to choose the most appropriate and effective method of managing heat on their classic car.
