Press release -

elephant communications supports the Philharmonia Orchestra

elephant communications has become a new corporate member of the Philharmonia Orchestra for 2012-13, joining the orchestra's growing support base from the business community, including the likes of Palamon Capital Partners; Robert Bosch Ltd and Fenwick Ltd.

Resident at London's Royal Festival Hall, the Philharmonia Orchestra is one of world’s finest orchestras and tours extensively internationally in addition to its range of residences across the UK.

The move follows elephant team's already close relationship with the Philharmonia Orchestra, having earlier announced that as part of its community investment programme it would support the orchestra's dynamic music education work in 2012.

Commenting on the new and expanded association with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Guy Bellamy commented: "As well as being one of the world's finest orchestras, the sheer breadth of their work is as engaging as it is impressive. From trailblazing innovative concert themes and concepts devised by Principal Conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen, to their sector-defining digital programme and their work with the film and gaming industries, the world's most recorded orchestra is setting the standard for combining fine music making with meaningful engagement and outreach. In the year of the Olympics, when sponsorship attention no doubt turns to sport, it is important to remember that London is blessed to have one of the finest creative arts offers in the world and they need business support to continue their innovative and important work. We are proud to be joining the ranks of the Philharmonia Orchestra’s growing corporate partners to support their ambitious plans for the year ahead.”
