A big 'thank you' to our community!

We at ellenor would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us over the last thirty years.

On Saturday 21 July, our charity shop in the High Street, Swanley closed its doors as its tenancy came to an end.

A special thank you to our loyal customers and wonderful volunteers who have been committed to ensuring that we help our local community each and every day.

When I retired I was lost for something to do, I called in to the ellenor shop and offered my time. The past six years have been so good for me, making me feel useful and wanted. I have made some really good friends” - Volunteer Susan Woodman.

ellenor currently operates 15 charity shops across Kent. They make an invaluable contribution to their communities, as well as raising critical funds for specialist palliative and end of life care services.

ellenor’s Director of Income Generation, Linda Trew says: “I would like to say a very BIG thank you to all our loyal customers and volunteers for being involved in ellenor and for shopping in our charity shops.

Our care depends on your ongoing support to help us raise the £6.9m we need each year, as demand for our services is growing. The ongoing generosity of our supporters ensures that we can provide the very best personalised hospice care.

We could not do it without you and once again, I would like to thank everyone on behalf of ellenor”.

ellenor is looking for alternative premises in Swanley. In the interim, please continue to support us and visit your closest shops in Dartford High Street and Dartford Priory.
