HR Revolution and NDK Consulting paddle for ellenor

Tunbridge Wells-based HR Revolution – the outsourced HR solutions provider – has teamed up with NDK Consulting, a technology and cyber security recruitment business, to take part in the Bewl Water Dragon Boat Race on Saturday 10 September. The team – which has called itself Dirty Oars – will be raising money for local hospice charity ellenor.

Jonelle Wilkin, Business Operations Manager at HR Revolution, says that she was inspired to support ellenor, as the charity provides support to her neighbour’s daughter Elise, who suffers from Lissencephaly, a rare gene-linked brain malformation.

“The prognosis for children with this condition depends on the degree of brain malformation, but sadly many will die before the age of ten years,” says Jonelle. “That’s why we have chosen to support ellenor – as it is an absolute lifeline for Elise and her family. The work done by ellenor is absolutely amazing and changes so many people’s lives for the better – so choosing to support this charity was an easy decision to make.”

ellenor provides children’s hospice at home care to children across South West Kent, North Kent and the London Borough of Bexley – providing care and support, including respite care, into children’s own homes. ellenor currently supports 150 seriously ill children each year – however, more than double that number need its help and demand for the charity’s service is increasing every day.

“We are so grateful to the team from HR Revolution and NDK Consulting for supporting ellenor at the Dragon Boat Race and we wish them lots of luck,” says Sarah Neville, Area Fundraiser for South West Kent at ellenor. “The funds they raise will do so much to help our young patients, such as Elise.”
