  • engcon launches the EC-Oil automatic quick hitch for tiltrotators on excavators 4-6 tons

    engcon, the leading global supplier of tiltrotators, quick hitches and advanced accessories for excavators, will launch its EC-Oil quick hitch system during spring 2022 on the lower quick hitch on the tiltrotator EC206 for excavators in the 4-6 ton weight class. This means that hydraulics, electronics, and central lubrication are connected automatically while the driver remains in the cab.

  • The demand for EC-Oil has grown markedly

    Being able to connect a tiltrotator or other hydraulic tools without having to step out of the cab continues to gain in popularity. Engcon's statistics show that demand for the automatic quick hitch system with EC-Oil is increasing year on year. From 2019 - 2020, sales of Engcon's automatic quick hitch with EC-Oil have increased globally by 76 percent.

  • Engcon establishes a new operation in South Korea

    World-leading tiltrotator manufacturer Engcon continues to establish new operations around the world. The most recent opening took place in South Korea, where the company is starting up Engcon Korea Ltd with its own sales and aftermarket staff as well as a network of dealers and service partners. The official start of the company took place at Korea's largest machinery trade fair Conex Korea.

  • Engcon's founder Stig Engström receives a medal from H.M. The King of Sweden at the Royal Palace of Stockholm

    On January 28, 2021, Engcon's founder and owner Stig Engström was presented with “H.M. The King's Medal of the 12th size with a bright blue ribbon” for his significant contribution to Swedish industry. Due to the pandemic, previously H.M. The King's Medal could not be awarded in person but during a recent medal ceremony at the Royal Palace of Stockholm Stig Engström was able to receive the medal.

  • Engcon increases profitability and remains market leader

    The construction and contractors sector in 2020 suffered both a loss of turnover and as a consequence, reduced profits. The world-leading tiltrotator manufacturer Engcon also had a reduction in turnover, but still managed to deliver better results compared to 2019, which means improved profitability for the Engcon group.

  • Engcon simplifies the transportation and storage of tiltrotators

    The introduction of automatic quick hitches has made it easier for excavator operators to disconnect the tiltrotator when extra digging or lifting power is required. On these occasions ground conditions may not be suitable to park the tiltrotator. That's why Engcon is now launching a new stand to transport and store the tiltrotator. It thus solves many transportation and storage challenges.

  • The world’s first Volvo Smart Connect excavator fully equipped with automatic quick hitch system and tiltrotator

    At the beginning of 2021, Volvo CE announced that they had developed the Volvo Smart Connect solution. A new factory option that connects tiltrotators from different manufacturers directly to the machine, integrated with Volvo's machine steering system, Volvo Dig Assist. Simultaneously, Engcon announced that they have adapted their own control system DC2 for this new possibility with eML.

  • Engcon signs major distribution agreement with John Deere for North America

    Engcon, the world’s leading tiltrotator manufacturer, and John Deere have entered into a major agreement focusing on the US and Canada markets. Through this preferred supplier agreement, Engcon’s products will be available to end users through the John Deere and Hitachi excavator dealer network throughout the US and Canada.

  • Engcon increases its activity in the UK and Ireland

    Streamlining your excavator with a tiltrotator is becoming more common, and so is the UK. With this, Engcon UK has hired a new Country manager and a product ambassador. The new Country Manager, Sam Ryan, most recently came from the Quarrying and Concrete industry business and is now looking forward to participating in Engcon's continued expansion.

  • Engcon expands its North American operations with a new office in Canada

    In 2017, Engcon formed and rolled-out its North America company, Engcon North America Inc. with sales offices and warehouses established in Connecticut. Following a steady increase in sales throughout all of North America, Engcon is now taking the next natural step - and starting up operations in Canada.

  • Engcon and Volvo launch a global collaboration – the start of a long-term joint development in the industry

    In 2020 the collaboration started with Engcon's eML (engcon Machine Link) and Volvo Smart Connect. This resulted in the first compatible machines, an updated EC250 E and EC300 E reaching the Engcon workshops and Volvo, with customer delivery due in the first quarter 2021. The project is the start of a global collaboration agreement between Volvo Construction Equipment and Engcon.

  • Engcon's founder is awarded the H.M. The King’s Medal in Sweden

    Every year the regent of Sweden H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf decides on the medal award for H.M. the King´s medal. This year, Engcon's founder and owner Stig Engström was awarded with “H.M. The King's Medal of the 12th size with a bright blue ribbon” for his significant contributions within Swedish industry.
