engcon will be one part of the partnership behind the Construction Equipment Dealer Team, CE Dealer Team, competing in the electrified World Rallycross Championship series in 2022. It will be the first time the World Championship will be determined with fully electrified cars, which is a major step towards sustainability in the world of motorsport.

As a further step forward in making the excavator an effective tool carrier, a newly developed compactor plate for excavators in the size 12-24 tonnes is now being launched. The PC6000 compactor plate has been adapted for use under a tiltrotator, increasing the excavator's efficiency whilst reducing risk of personal injury.
In the spring of 2022, tiltrotator manufacturer engcon will launch a lightweight pallet fork for excavators in the weight class of 2-6 tonnes. As a result, the work that can be done by these machines is further expanded, which contributes to increased efficiency and profitability.

This means that hydraulics, electronics, and central lubrication are connected automatically while the driver remains in the cab.
Being able to connect a tiltrotator or other hydraulic tools without having to step out of the cab continues to gain in popularity. Engcon's statistics show that demand for the automatic quick hitch system with EC-Oil is increasing year on year. From 2019 - 2020, sales of Engcon's automatic quick hitch with EC-Oil have increased globally by 76 percent.

The new Country Manager, Sam Ryan, most recently came from the Quarrying and Concrete industry business and is now looking forward to participating in Engcon's continued expansion.
The new partnership between the two companies means that Engcon UK will supply their range of machine hitches, tiltrotators, control systems and other products to The Scot JCB Group.
In 2017, Engcon formed and rolled-out its North America company, Engcon North America Inc. with sales offices and warehouses established in Connecticut. Following a steady increase in sales throughout all of North America, Engcon is now taking the next natural step - and starting up operations in Canada.
Engcon’s EC226, the second largest tiltrotator for excavators in the 19-26 tonne weight class, now has a more powerful lifting hook that is approved for 8 tons, according to EN 474-1: 2006 + A6: 2019 ANNEX E. The upgrade applies to the directly attached tiltrotators.
