Clinical England Women see off Pakistan in Christchurch

England Women 107-1 beat Pakistan Women 105 by nine wickets

England Women moved into the top four of the standings in the ICC Women's World Cup with an emphatic victory over Pakistan in Christchurch.

Katherine Brunt returned to form with 3-17, and Pakistan never really got going after she dismissed Nahida Khan from the first ball of the innings.

England's seamers and Sophie Ecclestone (3-18) kept chipping away, aided by two run-outs, as Pakistan were bowled out for 105.

Danni Wyatt raced to 76 to see England home inside 20 overs and with it boost their run-rate to overtake India in the table. Victory over Bangladesh in England's final group game would guarantee a semi-final berth.
