Tickets for new-look Vitality Blast now on general sale
Tickets for this summer’s new-look Vitality Blast men’s and women’s competitions are now on general sale.
Fans are being encouraged to secure their seats early and take advantage of Early Bird pricing to avoid missing out the most in‑demand fixtures for what promises to be the most exciting Vitality Blast season ever with overseas stars like Meg Lanning, Tristan Stubbs and Chris Lynn already signed up alongside homegrown favourites such as Moeen Ali, Kate Cross and Sarah Glenn.
An action-packed two-month Vitality Blast season starts on Friday 22 May, which marks the launch of a reinvigorated competition featuring a greater focus on derby rivalries and more fan-friendly schedule with fewer group-stage matches.
Eighty per cent of men’s matches will be on a Friday, weekends or a Bank Holiday Monday, and there will be 61 men’s and women’s double headers, offering supporters more opportunities than ever to enjoy back‑to‑back elite T20 action.
The introduction of men’s crossover fixtures adds fresh intrigue, throwing up match‑ups that have rarely – and in some cases never – been seen in the Vitality Blast before.
The competition launches in style with a re‑match of last year’s men’s final, as Somerset host Hampshire on opening night (Friday 22 May).
That is the start of a ‘Blast off’ Bank Holiday Weekend when every county will be involved in at least one of 14 double headers including women’s champions Surrey hosting Lancashire Thunder at The Kia Oval on opening night.
Yorkshire’s elevation to Tier 1 of the Vitality Blast Women’s Competition expands the league to nine teams and sets up the first-ever Women’s Roses double header on an historic night at Emirates Old Trafford on Friday 10 July.
Both the men’s and women’s group stages conclude over a dramatic Finale Weekend (10–12 July), immediately followed by the men’s quarter-finals on Wednesday 15 July.
The season culminates in a showpiece weekend of back‑to‑back Finals Days. Vitality Blast Women’s Finals Day is on Friday 17 July at The Kia Oval while Vitality Blast Men’s Finals Day is almost a sell-out on Saturday 18 July at Edgbaston.
