Esbjerg – and ESVAGT – on the Scales
The contest ‘Esbjerg on the Scales’ has two participating teams from the shipping company
It was ‘Runners Choice’ and ‘Spar Nord’ in Esbjerg that had arranged the contest ‘Esbjerg on the Scales’. And also this year the inhabitants of Esbjerg were guided to a healthier and lighter lifestyle over a period of eight weeks.
735 participants were registered and consisted of 147 teams of five people each and among them two ESVAGT teams with ten people in all.
On the first weigh-in, which was made at ’Tobakken’ at Esbjerg on 9 January, the teams got weighed and were handed over the scales to be used in the weekly weighing. Every Friday there was a ‘joint weighing’ and reporting – and the contest for losing weight was tough.
On 6 March at the end of the contest, the two teams from ESVAGT got impressive results and were placed in the field as No 126 and No 52 respectively out of the 147 participating teams.
