Press release -

ESVAGTs new man in the UK

Nigel K. Taylor will be heading ESVAGT’s office at Dock Gate House in Aberdeen.

ESVAGTs new Regional Manager UK Nigel K. Taylor – appointed 1 December 2015 – brings with him a vast experience from working the North Sea area with knowledge from business areas like drilling, FPSO, supply and stand-by duties.

Before joining ESVAGT to head the Aberdeen Office, Nigel K. Taylor has worked in the offshore industry since 1982 with companies as Viking Supply Ships, Maersk Contractors UK, the joint venture North Sea Production Company and Elf Enterprise Caledonia among others.

Prior to joining the offshore oil and gas-industry Nigel K. Taylor worked 20 years at sea as a master mariner – a career path many colleagues at ESVAGT will recognize as their own.

He looks forward to help grow ESVAGT’s business in his hometown:

- My goal is to grow ESVAGT in the ERRV market and to play a more active part in wind and renewables. ESVAGT is respected and has a good reputation. I have seen a few ERRV-operators in my time, and there is no questioning ESVAGT’s position as the most professional and well run of them all. It is a quality product, and that should give us an edge in a difficult marked. I look forward to the challenge, he says.

Facts

Nigel Taylor is 61 years old, British, married, father of two children and four grandchildren. He is a keen cyclist and holds a pilot license.
