ESVAGT's Sustainable Reporting Gains Significance

Press release -

ESVAGT's Sustainable Reporting Gains Significance

Our GRESB score has improved, holding great significance for our customers, partners, and investors who expect ESVAGT to operate sustainably and environmentally responsibly.

At ESVAGT, we measure our efforts in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable business practices. These areas fall under the common denominators of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Sustainability and ESG largely revolve around the same concept: quantifying a company's efforts in ESG, evolving into a tool that ESVAGT utilizes to provide a more nuanced picture of our business.

Data as an Unbiased Foundation
Since 2017, ESVAGT has documented its efforts through the GRESB platform. GRESB is an impartial organization dedicated to enhancing transparency and understanding of companies' sustainability. In essence, GRESB emphasizes Sustainability and ESG efforts similar to how financial statements quantify financial results.

External stakeholders and investors not only focus on our financial statements but also use the GRESB score to gain a more comprehensive assessment of our annual performance.

"For all our valued customers, suppliers, and colleagues at ESVAGT, the importance of excelling within these parameters cannot be overstated. Robust financial metrics and dependable ESG performance data are critical benchmarks for a company like ESVAGT in today’s business landscape," says Lissi Franzen, QA & Sustainability Manager.

Highest Score
"In 2023, we were assessed with a score of 95 out of 100 and a five-star GRESB rating, which makes us very satisfied and proud marking our highest GRESB score in the six years of our collaboration" says Lissi Franzen.

The assessment is based on a range of key data and documents shared with GRESB. This includes our efforts to reduce environmental impact through energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and waste management, as well as our commitment to social and community issues and the establishment of robust control systems in the company, such as corruption prevention.

"With 95 points, ESVAGT has delivered its highest GRESB score ever. It underscores ESVAGT's ambition and commitment to sustainable and responsible operations. By taking care of today, we are actively contributing to making tomorrow a better and more sustainable future.
