Press release -

The ship’s chest makes a difference

A donation from the ship’s chest on board the ’Esvagt Delta’ has been put to charitable use.

The crew’s club on board the ’Esvagt Delta’ has chosen to donate the contents of its ship’s chest to good use. A ship’s chest is a vessel’s own savings that is used for the general good of the crew. As the vessel approaches its exit from the fleet, the crew of the ’Esvagt Delta’ decided to use its savings of 8,474,61 Danish kroner to support the Danish children’s charity, Julemærkehjemmene:

“The entire crew agreed that they wanted to do something to help children and the Danish charity, Julemærkehjemmene, does an amazing job supporting children and families through all sorts of difficulties, and this is something that we wanted to support,” says Leo Frederiksen, crew member on board the ’Esvagt Delta’.
