“We couldn’t have asked for more!”
The secretariat for the Tall Ships Races was based in the offices that ESVAGT recently acquired from IAT.
”We are delighted to have the chance to be spot on in the middle of it all.”
That is what Villy Grøn, project manager for the secretariat for the Tall Ships Races 2014, said about the offices that ESVAGT provided for the secretariat and the race organisation.
Although ESVAGT had just finished building their new premises at the dock harbour and had acquired IAT’s premises, neither the shipping company’s new offices nor adjacent buildings had been put into service when the Tall Ships Races were on.
That is how accommodation became part of ESVAGT’s sponsorship, much to the delight of the secretariat.
“The location is really central and the offices extremely suitable. Discussing practicalities with our neighbours during the Tall Ships Race was much easier face to face than trying to communicate over the phone. Being able to get together on the spot has meant a great deal,” says Villy Grøn.
