NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is made up of all 44 General Practices in the local area. Our CCG is a successful and innovative commissioner of local services with well-developed partnership arrangements that underpin their approach to improving the health and wellbeing of the highly diverse population and vibrant communities that they serve.

They are currently seeking to enhance their leadership team to deliver against their new strategic programme and support their ambition for improving local health services. As a result of this, they are now starting the process to recruit a talented and experienced Director of Integrated Commissioning.

Working as a key member of the CCG’s Senior Management Team, the post holder will provide leadership to all aspects of primary, community, mental health and acute commissioning across our borough. They will work closely with local residents, members and partners to lead and secure new outcomes based approaches to commissioning local services in line with the CCG’s approach to system integration and care.

The post holder will work with the clinical leadership team to implement their vision for integration and test and commission new models of care. They will lead the key programmes of work around prevention, building community resilience and establishing the foundations for integrated care. Ultimately, the key to success in this post will be the delivery of high quality, safe and best value services across their area.

They are looking for a candidate with the gravitas and acumen to successfully operate in a high profile political arena. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills and a clear understanding of the wider health and social care system. Your exceptional track record in delivery and leadership to secure improved outcomes coupled with a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of residents will be what sets you apart for other applicants.
