Our featured job of the week is for a leading healthcare organisation who are currently seeking a very capable individual to work to provide highly visible nursing leadership for an initial period of 6 months.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide highly visible nursing leadership and direction for the development of nursing practice, monitoring of standards and the provision of training and education to support the needs of patients and the overall aims of the site;
• Ensure effective management of clinical services and to ensure the safety of all staff, patients and visitors by implementation and monitoring of relevant policies and procedures;
• A member of the Senior Management Team to participate in the strategic planning of the hospital and to assist departmental managers in achieving their expense of revenue targets;
• Lead on patient safety, patient experience and quality of services across the site, developing quality initiatives and establishing monitoring systems for the achievement of local, corporate and national standards;
• Direct the delivery of patient care, treatment, and services

A successful candidate will have:

• Clinical Background at Senior Management / Reporting to Board Level;
• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration and experience in an acute and complex healthcare environment;
• A strong focus on ensuring a great patient experience;
• Paediatric experience would be desirable;
• Extensive clinical and Senior Management skills and experience
