    Four out of five foot amputations could be prevented in diabetics. Prerequisite among other things: Risk awareness! According to the GEHWOL Diabetes Report, there is a lack of awareness. There is room for improvement in terms of education. The early identification of risk patients, their interdisciplinary care, but also an optimised risk awareness among those affected is of great importance.
