The region’s biggest bus company, Go North East has brought five newly branded buses onto the roads of Newcastle to mark one of the city’s most legendary events – the Blaydon Race.
Service 94 will be diverted.
Hundreds of fundraising runners were welcomed at Go North East’s Metro Radio bus as the popular local station held a special broadcast at the North of England Children’s Cancer Research (NECCR) annual fun run last month (May).
From 25 June, there will be some changes to stand allocations at Sunderland Interchange.
Buses will be unable to serve stops between Eilansgate and the A69 on West Road.
Go North East has pulled out all the stops to celebrate Sunderland’s most popular local radio station, with the gift of a branded bus at two major events this month (May 2017).

From 7am on Sunday 11 June until Wednesday 14 June, services 13 / 14 and X25 will be unable to serve normal routes due to road closures.
Due to the closure of Mary Street, services 2/2A, 9, 20, 35A, 56, 78/78A, 135/136 will be unable to serve normal stops and will be stopping at the following stands.
This will start from the first buses of the day, until 6pm.

Due to the Sage Road Run taking place at Great Park on Saturday 10 June, service Q3 will be unable to serve the stops in North Park, Park and Ride site, Wagonway Drive or Roseden Way. All customers should use stops on Sir Bobby Robson Way or Brunton Lane.
