  • Go North East Offers Free Travel for Armed Forces Day

    Go North East, the region’s largest bus operator, is delighted to announce free travel on all its buses for veterans and members of the Armed Forces on Saturday 29 June. Free travel is available on any Go North East Bus across the region. It applies to serving personnel in uniform, those carrying a military ID card, veterans with a medal or veteran’s badge, and cadets.

    The Belsay and Wallington Express X75 bus is back for 2024, providing free and sustainable travel for all visitors to Belsay Hall and Wallington, supported by English Heritage and National Trust. The service will run every Saturday from 4 May until 7 September 2024, starting at Haymarket bus station in Newcastle city centre.
