Emergency work to stabilise a cutting near Fareham in southeast Hampshire completed – but buses will again replace trains between Eastleigh and Fareham next week

Network Rail has thanked customers travelling between Eastleigh and Fareham for their patience while emergency works to stabilise a cutting took place. Engineers will return to Fareham for the second time from Monday 12 to Friday 16 February to carry out major track renewal works, which means that buses will replace trains.
