Network Rail have issued the following press release about engineering work affecting Thameslink and Great Northern services between Stevenage and London over the August Bank Holiday weekend:
Passengers intending to travel between London Kings Cross and Stevenage and on Great Northern routes into Moorgate over the August Bank Holiday weekend are being asked to plan ahead due to engineering work
Passengers should travel only if absolutely necessary on Southern, Great Northern and Thameslink on Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August and the mornings after on Friday 19 and Sunday 21 August due to next week’s strike by RMT members at Network Rail and UK train operators
Passengers are strongly advised to travel only if absolutely necessary between Cambridge, Peterborough, Hertford North and London and to and from stations in between this Saturday, 13 August.
