US Lags Behind in Green Energy – UK Surges Ahead

Governments around the world are making it a high priority to promote green energy and green jobs.   We have already noted, for example, how Australia is aggressively pushing to have 20% of its electricity come from green energy sources, making it an ideal location for our biofuel green energy project. The one major country that has still not made the commitment to the adoption of green renewable energy is the United States. Whilst the US lags, however, the UK has surged ahead with an aggressive Government policy to promote the adoption of green renewable energy on a wide scale. Green energy is seen as a $5 trillion business, and to the victors will go the spoils – Britain’s policy is farsighted and the US would be wise to study it.
