Press release -
Easter eCard sale to fund charity’s clean water project
Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) charity, Hope Spring has launched a set of Easter e-cards it hopes will raise enough money, to complete its ongoing well and borehole project in Ivory Coast. The Hereford based charity, like other charities has seen a decline in it's donations because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Hope Spring has however seen a significant increase in the use of its charity e-ecard fundraising website, Hope Spring eCards with a promising increase in donations. A spokesman for Hope Spring, who also manages the website Evgeniy Garkaviy said “we are quite happy about the increase in donations we are getting from our ecards, it does not quite compensate for the revenue lost from not being able to stage events, but it plugs a significant hole in our fundraising.
Hope Spring is currently working on the construction of a number of wells and boreholes in Ivory Coast. They are currently building a well at the village of Akakro Ngban. The project is expected to be completed at the end of April. On completion of the Akakro Ngban project, the team are expecting to return to their base in Abidjan, before embarking on their next task, which is a borehole project at a village approximately one hundred and fifty mile north of their base.
Easter e-cards sales to the rescue
“We are counting on some of the donations we hope to receive this Easter bank holiday weekend” said Evgeniy Garkaviy. He added that “ Easter e-card sales is usually our first and most important donation point, at the start of the second quarter of every year. Donations from 2021 Easter ecards may well help us to make up the remainder of the funds we need to complete our clean water projects in Ivory coast”. The team at Hope Spring ecards added half a dozen animated charity Easter ecards to their 2021 offering yesterday. You can find out more information about Hope Spring water projects and their ecards at their website. You can also find our more on their social media pages including Facebook and Instagram pages.
Hope Spring Water charity’s ecard website was set up, so that its users can send donation ecards to their family, friends or colleagues and donate what it would have cost them to send a traditional printed card to Hope Spring.
