We're excited to share an update about a Women’s Motorcycling Event which was held by our local Groups on Sunday, 28th April at Thruxton. 🏍️ The event was for local riders who were not currently members, so they could learn more about Advanced riding and allowed them to explore more about our community. Our ASDM, Stuart Haythorn, captured some wonderful pictures of the event, which included a range of different presentations and demonstrations throughout the day. There were also a number of different partners who joined, along with guest presenter, Carla Mckenzie. We would like to thank all of those who organised and ran the event as it was a great success. ✨

Our members by exemption make up a huge part of the IAM RoadSmart community, with many of them sharing their skills and expertise through volunteering. Their knowledge and experience are invaluable to helping others understand how to become better drivers and riders. 🏍️🚗 “It opens up opportunities – new social opportunities and new learning opportunities as well. There’s always stuff going on, some that I can’t access as a police officer and with my police training, but I can access through IAM RoadSmart. I find that it’s a really nice balance of learning new things and meeting different people.” Discover more about Dave’s story and how to become a member by exemption by clicking the link in our bio.
