Press release -

The secret behind being one of the Best Companies to Work For 2016

Demonstrating its long-standing commitment to employee satisfaction and wellbeing as it shifted from a small doctor locum agency fourteen years ago to today, the UK’s leading multi-discipline medical recruiter, ID Medical was delighted to again discover its positioning in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For league table at the awards celebration in Battersea Park, London on Thursday 25 February.

Best Companies helps organisations gain competitive advantage by measuring, recognising and improving employee engagement levels through a meticulous survey based on key satisfaction factors such as work conditions, pay, teamwork, leadership and wellbeing.

In the company’s fourth consecutive year of earning its 2 star accreditation, signalling an ‘Outstanding’ organisation, ID Medical has continued to experience significant growth whilst placing an extra emphasis on its workforce, the fuel behind its ever-adapting innovative and personalised solutions to the NHS and private medical sector.

Deenu Patel, managing director of ID Medical, reflects upon the result, “To continuously achieve ranking in this prestigious league table brings me great pride. ID Medical’s success knows no bounds, and with a workforce of 500+ to date, the most rewarding part of achieving this accolade is knowing that our staff recognise our efforts to make ID Medical the outstanding place to work it is.

“2016 has seen a dramatic increase in investment for training and staff development, both monetary and physically, to ensure the training provided is more targeted to the individual. The important thing to remember is that our staff are those moulding ID Medical’s value, reputation and service in the industry. We strive to ensure that each and every one of our staff feel valued, stimulated and find the company an enjoyable place to work. If this is achieved, I can be confident that, in turn, our valued candidates and clients receive a premier level service in every instance.

“Last year’s Best Companies results enabled us to identify areas of improvement and with this, we’ve been able to make the necessary changes. This included the launch of a staff restaurant at its corporate headquarters, a central hub for the whole business to get together. We look forward to analysing the results again this year and making a positive difference for our workforce. On behalf of the whole business, thank you for recognising ID Medical’s efforts – we are so proud.”

The official Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2016 list will be published in The Sunday Times newspaper this coming Sunday 28th February.
