SKF Microlog Advisor Pro

SKF Microlog Advisor Pro
(CMXA 45)

The SKF Microlog Advisor Pro is a portable vibration senor tool that is highly adaptable and useful to anyone working in condition based monitoring be they installation engineers, maintenance engineers, noise and vibration specialists or any mechanic working with moving machinery. This compact and lightweight device houses a powerful, portable software computing engine and precision data acquisition hardware sensors, which combined produce a cutting-edge vibration monitoring instrument. The SKF Microlog Pro is not just another piece of hardware, it is an investment giving both instant and long-term benefits allowing your machines to run longer (by reducing unnecessary stresses) , faster (by accurately balancing and calibrating your machines) and more reliably (by giving early warning when an issue is developing, allowing engineers time to correct it).

This three-channel vibration analysis device boasts a frequency range of 40 kHz Fmax with upto 12,800 lines of resolution. The display is a ¼ VGA colour screen that alerts the user with colour-coded messages allowing the user to quickly and intuitively understand their test results. The built-in memory stands at 128MB (enough for 4,000 spectra) and is expandable to 16GB via SD card upgrades. The entire device weights in at just over 700g, with a high-power Li-ion battery that ensures users can work without the worry of needing to recharge for up to 8 hours.  While the SKF Microlog Advisor Pro is a precise and accurate tool it is also robust enough to withstand even the most demanding environmental challenges. This durable device can be operational from -10c to +50c and up to 95% humidity. The unit has also been subjected to MIL STD 810 specifications in a 2 metre drop test giving added peace-of-mind.

The SKF Microlog Pro can be further expanded on with the addition of modules that provide built in application expertise with simple step-by-step instructions to guide the user, these kits also remove the need to purchase a new machine when extra functionality is required. These modules enhance specific areas of the Microlog Advisor Pro’s data collection and analysis features with appropriate sensors, accessories and software included in each kit. Kits are available for the Microlog Advisor Pro for; conformance testing -  allowing the monitoring of up to 64 fault criteria simultaneously, FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analysis and bump testing – breaks down noise and vibrations into their constituent frequency for further analysis, balance testing – provides high precision data on all rotating machinery, spindle assessment – performs 9 different tests on machine tool spindles and the in-depth analysis and reporting module – allows for a higher level of analysis and report generation as well as more post processing features.
