Isys Intelligent Systems Time and Attendance software helps V-Cars speed up their administration processes

Swindon based Isys Intelligent Systems tm, are the UK’s leading developer of workforce management systems with an ever expanding client base of around 800 customers nationwide. Since inception in 1999, Isys have built upon a strong time and attendance and access control product and added HR, Job Costing, Scheduling, Identity Verification and Employee Vetting software to their portfolio in response to customer’s requirements and market demand for a single database solution.

V Cars are a rapidly expanding private vehicle hire firm, who now has offices in Bath, Swindon, Chippenham  and Bristol. Calls for the Swindon and Chippenham area are dealt with centrally at their Groundwell Industrial Estate offices in Swindon by over 50 employees. The company felt with that level of staffing and the administration that was required to pay them, monitor sickness and absence and book holidays, that a time and attendance system was necessary. Some method to schedule and plan shifts would also ensure that the level of service wouldn’t be comprised in this area of the business.

The main driving factor for purchasing a time and attendance system was to reduce the time taken by the management team in processing wage queries and identifying ‘actual’ arrival and departure times of staff. The view was to have greater control over a previous manual system and therefore provide a more robust method of control. The system needed to link to Sage, be easy to use and have the ability to generate reports in an efficient manner and identify anomalies with staff attendance and absence profiling.

V-Cars have an ongoing acquistiopn programme and bought the system as part of a ‘group’ implementation.
