Press release -

Is it possible to stop smoking in only 2 hours?

It has been reported that 90% of us fail our New Year’s resolutions by the time we reach the end of January. Quitting smoking is the most popular resolution, but it is also the hardest to stick to. Celebrity health coach and best-selling author Jason Vale suggests there is a very simple way to escape the nicotine trap.

A new independent study by scientists in the US has revealed that Nicotine Replacement Therapies (or NRT’s), specifically patches and gums, are not effective in helping smokers to quit long-term. The vast majority of people who have tried NRT’s combine them with high levels of willpower to try and beat their cravings, making patches and gums placebos at best.

Many people are now turning to other forms of therapy to help them stop smoking. Reports this week suggest that after increasing pressure, celebrities like X-factor boss Simon Cowell are undergoing addiction treatment to quit the cigarettes.

Jason Vale works with many celebrities on all aspects of health, nutrition and addiction. After ditching his 60-a-day habit in 1995 Jason Vale went on to study addiction psychology and ran a stop smoking clinic for 9 years. He believes there is a simple way to cure people’s smoking habit. “It simply involves understanding how the nicotine trap works and combining that knowledge with some simple instructions” commented Jason, “the need for nicotine is caused only by the previous dose - it’s a simple chain.”

Jason added, “the reason it appears so hard to stop is due to the slightly insecure feeling that nicotine withdrawal creates. This in turn can create a feeling in the smoker’s mind of panic and fear. It is only this fear, that keeps people smoking. {{If you remove the panic and fear through an understanding of what the actual cause is, it can be very easy to stop}}.”

Jason has combined his knowledge of addiction psychology and his ‘Freedom’ method into a new app that promises to help people to stop in as little as 2 hours. Jason's Stop Smoking in 2 Hours app uses persuasive video, audio coaching and hypnotherapy to re-enforce Jason's key messages.

“After more than 15 years of smoking I have stopped. Just like that. It was so easy! I feel free and amazing and it's like I never smoked. I've been out, pubs and clubs, out for dinner, and I'm not even tempted. I feel fantastic, and I must smell better too. I've had around 30 failed quit attempts and I'm not short of will power but this is the app that nailed it for me. Buy it. Listen to it. Feel on top of the world.”

- Claire Hossell from London
