Press release -

SOON TO OPEN JYSK OLDHAM STORE INTRODUCES MANAGER STORE OPENS SATURDAY 7TH MARCH 9AM

Seasoned Scandi retail store manager Natalie Waring will take the helm at Oldham’s new JYSK store which opens at Alexandra Retail Park, Park Road, on Saturday March 7th at 9am.

Natalie, who has held senior roles within JYSK stores for almost four years, joins Oldham from a post managing the global furniture brand’s Blackburn store. She will be working with newly recruited deputy store manager, retail professional, Adam Tierney, from Oldham.

The mum of four – 12-year-old twins, a five-year-old and a two-year-old - Natalie is no stranger to handling store openings in new territories for JYSK and has also seen JYSK’s Dewsbury store successfully launched.

Natalie, who has made retail her career, moved to JYSK back in 2016. The 31-year-old said: “I was looking for something different and JYSK has a great culture.

“It’s all about customer service, the store staff teams are really friendly and want to help people find what they need. It’s not within the JYSK culture to encourage people to spend more, we want them to get what’s right for them. Happy customers will come back. I love that I can spend time here with customers and get to know them, it’s a great atmosphere.

“Great style and quality partnered with incredible prices – thanks to JYSK’s global purchasing power – will go down really well in Oldham, which has long been on the company’s list for a store.

“I’m really excited to be opening with the new for 2020 Garden range. JYSK’s garden furniture has been such an incredible hit in the UK, with plenty of sell-out garden heroes within the range. And there’s no better time to come and browse – and buy – than opening weekend with store opening celebration offers of up to 75% off. We’re expecting queues at prices like this and advise customers to arrive early.”
