Tenth anniversary for Lesjöfors in Latvia

On June 9, it was ten years ago since Lesjöfors opened the doors to the new plant in Latvia. The anniversary was celebrated with a nice birthday event for all employees.

Production began on a small scale in 2003 with the aim of supporting the Scandinavian Lesjöfors companies with strip components at very competitive prices. The focus from the beginning has been to maintain a high customer service and expand business in the Baltics. And business has steadily year by year grown.
"Today our two companies in Latvia employ 95 people and we work with all Lesjöfors companies in the Group", says Ingars Jaunzems, MD Lesjöfors Springs LV.

Broad expertise and capacity
The road to success has included continuous new investments in equipment and education for the staff. Today thousands of articles are manufactured in the factory and specialist skills are very high. Not just strip components are produced but also gas springs and traditional springs. Hundreds of new Baltic companies have been added to Lesjöfors´ customer base since the start. The Latvian business also shows good financial results.
"We celebrate our success with a nice birthday event for all our employees. Thanks to our talented staff, we will grow further in the coming years", says Ingars Jaunzems.
