The evolution of Disys Technologies
Over the past year, Disys Technologies has entered a new phase- one defined by growth, innovation, and a sharper focus on delivering excellence across everything we do. When I joined as Managing Director at the end of 2024, the business already had a strong foundation and a respected reputation for expertise in fire damper control systems. My aim was to build on that identity, to drive innovation, strengthen our capabilities, and evolve how we serve our customers in an every-changing industry.
One of the more noticeable steps in the evolution is a new logo and refreshed branding but it’s about more than just a new look.
Driving innovation forward
Our technical and product development teams have made significant strides this year in preparing a new damper control system range ready for launch. As part of the Lindab Group, working closely with the Lindab Protect team has also been instrumental, allowing us to test, refine, and perfect the system before bringing it to the market more widely.
FireSmart is a next-generation fire and smoke damper control system bringing improved functionality, flexibility and performance. compatible across multiple damper manufacturers. Initial installations have been a great success, with positive feedback from clients confirming that our approach delivers what the industry needs- reliable technology that’s easy to install, operate, and maintain.
Strengthening our team and services
The growth of Disys isn’t just about products- it’s also about people. We’ve taken deliberate steps to strengthen our leadership structure, appointing a Technical Manager and Operations Manager from the existing team was a key first step. We’ve expanded our office team and added to our on-site capabilities, including a new addition of a site engineer based in Scotland- improving our coverage and responsiveness for clients in Scotland and the North of England.
We continue to invest in on-site services, enhancing commissioning, inspection, testing, and maintenance capabilities to support customers nationwide and expanding into Ireland and further into Europe. Our recent SafeContractor approval reflects the professional standards we uphold in all our site work.
Looking ahead
The momentum continues. We’re planning a move to new premises in early 2026 to accommodate the growing business and meet the standards that reflect our approach. We also continue to develop new additions and functionality for the product range, ensuring we meet further customer needs.
This past year has been one of real progress for Disys- a period of change, achievement, and advancement. And it’s only the beginning of what’s to come.
