Revamped and ready: Lindab's impressive fleet upgrade!

Embarking on a transformative journey to revolutionise our transportation operations, we have invested in our distribution fleet, enabling us to continue to meet customer demands and delivering superior performance.

This week we welcomed six sleek and shiny trailers to our fleet, perfectly matching four awesome new trucks.

It seemed like a long wait since they were ordered for our drivers, who were eager to get out on the road with the new trailers which are the bold 'Lindab blue' colour matching the trucks. These impressive vehicles proudly hold the esteemed FORS Bronze certification, a symbol of our commitment to the health and safety of our drivers and improved sustainability. It's all part of our comprehensive transport review, aiming to make a positive impact whilst delivering exceptional service. Each trailer also carries a seperate message relating to indoor climate solutions on the rear- as part of our ongoing effort to spread the word about the importance of indoor air quality.

The wider Lindab team have embraced the opportunity to get involved in naming our new vehicles, adding a personal touch. So far, we have welcomes four trucks which our team named- Poppy, Louster, Dave and Oliver. They are also keen to share photos of them when they are out and about. As we strive forward, we've implemented an advanced transport management system to optimise operations and ensures seamless coordination. The technology revolutionises our operations, enabling optimised routes, real-time monitoring, and seamless coordination. Collaborating closely with our trusted suppliers, we've ensured that our trucks collect goods on their return route to distribution centres, minimising empty journeys and reducing environmental impact.

The project will continue as we are also introducing new vans for our national branch network. The investment in these vehicles will enhance reliability, and further elevating service levels for our customers at local level.
