Lindab picks up Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year at the Energy Saving Awards

The Energy Saving Awards, organised by leading UK trade publications Plumbing, Heating & Air Movement News, and Energy in Buildings & Industry, is an event celebrating the very best professionals, products and projects across the Plumbing, HVAC and Energy Management sectors.

The awards acknowledge the important work that has been achieved by manufacturers, installers, contractors, suppliers and organisations, to reduce carbon emissions and become more energy efficient.

Lindab entered Ultra BT into the Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year category with a submission which highlights the energy savings potential of UltraLink but also how Ultra BT helps overcome the three main obstacles which prevent property owners from upgrading to more efficient ventilation systems: repayment time, downtime, and space available within the building for equipment such as cables and wires.

After meeting the requirements of the expert panel we then proceeded to the voting stage. Industry professionals were then invited to cast their votes and take the nominees down to a short list of finalists. Lindab were very excited to be told that Ultra BT was through to the finals.

On Thursday 1st December, teams from throughout the industry who are committed to providing energy efficient heating and ventilation products and projects, attended an awards lunch at the prestigious Tower Hotel in London, overlooking Tower Bridge and other iconic landmarks.

Whilst Lindab are confident that Ultra BT is a fantastic product, finding themselves up against other impressive products from highly respected companies; Gilberts, Airflow Developments and Elta Fans; meant Lindab couldn't be sure who would win.

Despite the tough competition- Lindab did it!

Lindab Ultra BT won the Energy Savings Award for Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year.

With great pride, Mike Chamberlain, Luke Bennett and Rekha Rana collected the award on behalf of Lindab whilst ICS Product Manager, Kirk Bracy and National Sales Manager, Andy Watton cheered them on.

Receiving this award further demonstrates Lindab's position at the forefront of efficient ventilation solutions and the commitment to providing systems for sustainable constuction.
