Lee Valley Regional Park Authority named as fifth category sponsor for London Sport Awards
London Sport are thrilled to announce that Lee Valley Regional Park Authority will be the London Sport Awards’ fifth Award category sponsor for 2020.
Lee Valley Regional Park Authority will sponsor The Impact of Elite Sport Award at Friday’s glittering ceremony which will be held at The Guildhall.
The authority runs open spaces and sports venues along the 26-mile long, 10,000-acre park which was created by a unique Act of Parliament as a “green lung” for London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Their approach is to be community focused and commercially driven, to work with partners to produce a unique combination of activities, sights and experiences.
Premier League clubs West Ham and Chelsea, and Richmond Rugby Community Programme, have been shortlisted for The Impact of Elite Sport Award, in association with Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.
The London Sport Awards will bring together people and organisations from every part of the capital’s sporting community, shining a light on the life-changing impact of physical activity and sport for all.
Tickets have already sold out for the fifth annual London Sport Awards, supported by the City of London Corporation, with the ten winners being announced on Friday from the 32 nominees.

London Sport Event Manager, Rachel Rowe, said:
“We’re delighted to have our fifth category sponsor in Lee Valley Regional Park Authority on board for this year’s London Sport Awards at the Guildhall.
“The support of sponsors is absolutely crucial to the running of the Awards ceremony, we simply wouldn’t be able to put on an event of this size and scale without them.
“I look forward to welcoming Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, along with all our other sponsors, to the Guildhall on Friday night for what is set to be a spectacular evening.”
