    P2X-Europe hits milestone for Power-to-Liquids project in Portugal

    P2X Europe, the joint venture between H&R and Mabanaft, is driving forward the path to climate neutrality in mobility and chemicals: One of the company's Power-to-Liquids projects was qualified as a project of potential national interest by the Portuguese government.

    Power-to-liquids production at the Hamburg H&R location is picking up speed

    Mabanaft and H&R, together with technology partner INERATEC, are setting the next milestone in the production of specialty chemical products and e-fuels from renewable raw materials. The production and marketing of synthesis-based e-fuels and waxes from renewable raw materials at the Hamburg site is set to start soon.

    Products for the future: P2X Europe and Nordic Electrofuel cooperate on PtL products

    P2X Europe and Nordic Electrofuel cooperate on PtL products. Nordic Electrofuel is to build PtL production plant in Porsgrunn, Norway, by 2024. Capacity will be expanded to over 800,000 tonnes per year of renewable synthetic fuels and waxes by 2032. P2X Europe markets power-to-liquid e-fuels and waxes from renewable resources.

    Future technology hydrogen: Mabanaft acquires stake in energy-storage specialist NACOMPEX

    Mabanaft acquires stake in energy-storage specialist NACOMPEX GmbH. Mabanaft and NACOMPEX are working together to develop an innovative, decentralised system for storing and transporting hydrogen. Germany’s federal government and that of the state of Saxony are providing the projects with €1.8 million in funding as part of the National Hydrogen Strategy.

    Mabanaft Group to donate over 32,000 euros for flood relief

    Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG and its subsidiaries have donated over 32,000 euros as emergency aid for those affected by the recent disastrous flooding in Germany. The funds will go to various charitable organisations, such as “Aktion Deutschland Hilft”, a coalition of German aid agencies.

    Petronord expands further in Sweden

    The expansion of the Petronord Group in Sweden continues steadily, even under difficult conditions caused by the Corona pandemic. Subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, Petronord will acquire shares in the trading company Runes AB as of January 1, 2022.
