Press release -

Are you looking to establish a business presence in Brazil & find a strategic business partner?

Magma would like to offer UK manufacturing businesses, operating within the oil & gas, petrochemical/chemical or mining industries, the opportunity to partner with us at our business premises in Brazil.

Magma’s facilities:

Our Brazilian manufacturing facility, based in the north of Rio de Janeiro, is located only 25km west of the main Petrobras port complex. This makes it an ideal base for businesses wishing to take advantage of the opportunities opening up within the oil & gas industry in Brazil.

We currently run a catalyst toll processing line in one section of the factory and have 7000m2 of additional space available. We also have a large, modern office block and the site has 1000 kVA of electrical power with diesel back-up generator and a high pressure natural gas supply.

How could partnering with Magma benefit you?

Brazil is not an easy place to set up business – however, it does offer many opportunities and a booming economy to UK manufacturers. There are hurdles to overcome, but, partnering with Magma could be of benefit here. Our extensive knowledge of the local market, legislations/regulations, permits and laws will aid in smoothing over the potential pitfalls of set up.

What next?

If this opportunity is of interest, or you are interested in Magma’s toll processing facilities in Brazil, please don’t hesitate to contact us on: 01924 468201 to request further information or an initial meeting.

About Magma Ceramics & Catalysts:

Magma Ceramics was established in February 2010 following a management buyout (MBO) of the former Dyson Group business, Dyson Precision Ceramics.

In the two and a half years following conclusion of the MBO, Magma has not only continued to develop its business within the technical and precision ceramics and refractory market, but has also expanded into the catalyst marketplace (with a specific focus on the petrochemical and oil industry), becoming Magma Ceramics & Catalysts.

Magma Ceramics & Catalysts is now a supplier of a wide range of refractory, ceramic and catalyst materials throughout the world and is currently experiencing significant growth. With the backing of strong technical and financial resources, and a wealth of practical experience, Magma’s mission is ‘to grow and develop our business in order to offer increased product range and flexible manufacturing capabilities, worldwide’.
