Magma Ceramics & Catalysts celebrates Yorkshire Fastest 50 Awards success!
Magma Ceramics & Catalysts was revealed as the fastest growing medium-sized business in the region at this year’s Yorkshire Fastest 50 Awards, which took place at Aspire, Leeds on Friday 15th March 2013. The winning companies were revealed before an audience of over 200 Fastest 50 company representatives and Yorkshire business leaders.
Magma successfully saw off competition from Freudenberg Filtration Technologies UK Limited and Transwaste Limited to go on and win the award. In addition, Magma also gained second place overall; a clear indication that plans to challenge the markets and exceed customer expectations are paying off as the business continues to grow year on year.
Shadow Chancellor, Ed Balls, presented Mark Stuckey, managing director at Magma, with the award for the fastest growing medium-sized business. Mark said: “We have some really great people working for us, but we also have fantastic customers and very supportive suppliers and it is this combination which has won us this award.”
Organised and sponsored by Top 100 UK law firm Ward Hadaway, the awards highlight and celebrate the achievements of pace-setting private companies across the region. Awards are handed out to the fastest growing small, medium-sized and large companies with one of these then being given a final award for the overall fastest growing company in Yorkshire.
