Press release -
UK fuel card company Silvey Fleet launches in France
Hamburg | 23 October 2025
The MB Energy Group’s UK-based fuel card and fleet management solutions provider Silvey Fleet has launched in France. Pierre-Marie Brancour, Country Manager for France, will oversee operations from the new regional head office in Lille, while Mathieu Cuny joins the team as sales manager for the Auvergne Rhône Alpes and Paca Area. Recruitments are underway to cover the rest of the territory.
The new fuel cards, in partnership with multi-branded French fuel card networks, will give Silvey Fleet’s customers access to competitively priced fuel for multi-fuel fleets at more than 2,900 fuel stations across France, including over 1,500 HGV service stations.
Drivers will be able to easily find their closest fuel station using the free smartphone station finder app, while the fuel cards can also be used purchase other products, such as lubricants, AdBlue and vehicle wash services. All purchases can be tracked and managed via an online portal, and, for added security, the cards will feature a swipe and PIN system.
A reputation built on service
One of the UK’s most established resellers of fuel cards and fleet management solutions, Silvey Fleet attributes much of its success to investing in long-term customer partnerships. The company constantly adds value and keeps customers at the heart of everything it does – an approach that has earned Silvey Fleet two distinguished accreditations – Investor in Customers Gold accreditation and Investors in People Platinum.
Alongside fuel cards, Silvey Fleet’s vehicle fleet management solutions provide a comprehensive, centralised overview of a fleet’s expenses and operational workings, allowing fleet managers to gain valuable insight and improve efficiency. In addition, the Silvey Fleet team works closely with customers to ensure they are able to reduce running costs – a support service that, in the context of current economic uncertainties, is greatly appreciated.
By entering the Irish market in 2022 and now launching in France, Silvey Fleet is expanding to serve customers outside the UK. As part of MB Energy’s Commercial Road Transport division, Silvey Fleet’s solutions and services perfectly complement the wide network of automated filling stations for commercial fleets, which MB Energy operates across Europe, connected to the strong tankpool24 network, in addition to the full-service truck filling stations the Group operates in the United Kingdom.
Adding value, reducing costs
Pierre-Marie Brancour, Silvey Fleet’s Country Manager for France, said: “With our extensive fuel card experience and well-established fleet management solutions, our aim is to help customers run their fleets more efficiently. Our fuel cards give customers convenient access to competitively priced fuel, while our fleet management solutions provide a top-down look at a fleet’s operations – further driving efficiency.”
Fuelling the future
Managing Director of Silvey Fleet, Miriam James, said: “I’m delighted we’re expanding the business into France and offering our well-established fleet management solutions to a new audience. We’ve worked hard to get to where we are. I’m immensely grateful to my team for their diligence and commitment. These are exciting times for the business and wider team.”
