Apple iPhone is the Most Successful Smartphone Brand Ever

Following huge success achieved with the iPhone brand, Apple is looking for world domination. However, it could not have been possible without the success of the iPhone originally and it did so in a major way back in 2007 when it was officially launched. Even after so many years of its launch, the iPhone brand still continues to get incredible attention from the general public who are looking to buy a new smartphone. The main reason for this has to be the introduction of new technologies that have not been witnessed in the segment before. Apple has been the beginner for many new technologies in this way, which has contributed to the overall success of the iPhone.

The iPhone originally came with a 3.5 inch display and in order to show the success of this display, one really has to look at the current iPhone version. It is still coming with the 3.5 inch display, although the technology within the display has changed a lot. This is due to the fact that the 3.5 inches represents the perfect size for managing the portability aspect, while also providing a reasonably large size screen. Even though there are many phones offering around 4 inches or even 4.3 inches of screen size, they are not practical in any way. The iPhone also becomes the first phone to offer the capacitive technology within the screen, which will enable the phone to even recognise multiple touches. This is a feature that was not previously present in the touch screen phones, but the iPhone introduced them.

The iPhone also comes with a two megapixel camera for taking pictures, which might not be at the level of competition in terms of megapixel count, but it is so in terms of the quality of images. This is also an incredible feature of the phone. The iPhone comes with the Apple iOS that has been specifically developed for this phone and many have praised this operating system to be the most stable ever made. This could partly be down to the 412 MHz processor present in the phone, which is also being helped by the incredible amount of RAM. Even though the official amount of RAM that is present in the phone is not available, it is expected to be plenty since the phone can support all applications in the same manner. It does not matter if the application is a low end application are one of the very high-end application's, the iPhone will run them in the same manner.

The iPhone will also be providing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options as the majority. The obvious lack of the 3G option in the phone is something that has been taken by Apple and rectified in the form of the Apple iPhone 3G, which was launched a year later. The iPhone 3G continue to be as popular as the original version, until it was replaced by the iPhone 3GS in 2009. The iPhone 3GS is still being sold today.
