Press release —
Eat Well Live Well Scheme helping to distribute food boxes
Education Authority Youth Centres across Mid and East Antrim are distributing supplementary food boxes to children and young people who are members of Youth Service provision throughout Covid-19.
The Eat Well Live Well programme is delivered by the Education Authority Youth Service which is acting as a safety net for the provision of breakfast and lunch items to those who are unable to access food elsewhere.
The service is available to children and young people aged 4-25 years who are members of a EA Youth Group or a EA registered Youth Group (e.g. scouts, guides, GB, BB etc.) and will provide a five day food box containing basic breakfast and lunch items.
In order to access the service young people or their parent/carers should register at
https://www.youthonline.org.uk/eatwelllivewell/
They will then receive a phone call from a youth worker who will explain how to access the food box either by home delivery or through grab’n’go at a designated centre.
