12 months of massive feature growth.

Release 4.20 of the Mecel Populus HMI Development Suite is now officially available. Mecel Populus is the complete tool chain for developing modern graphical user interfaces for embedded systems. It is designed for the automotive domain but is equally well suited for consumer electronics or industrial applications.

We have taken a look in the rear-view mirror to see what has been achieved in the Mecel Populus product development the last 12 months. When summarizing the feature growth it is apparent that the product is much more capable in every aspect today than what it was a year ago.

The list of features include 3D transitions and animations on any graphical object, laying out objects using user-defined animations, optimizations for CPU, footprint and start-up time, improved language and text handling, new widgets, a completely new installation kit for the Populus Suite containing more HMI examples, editor improvements and much more.
