Can you help officers investigating a robbery in Hoylake?

Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery in Hoylake on Thursday, 17 January.

At around 6.15pm, a 14-year-old boy was in North Parade with friends near to the Life Boat station, when a small black Vauxhall car pulled up and three men got out, while the driver remained inside. The men, all aged around 18-years threatened the boy, demanding his bike. The boy dropped the bike before the offender rode off on it.

The boy has been left shaken by his ordeal.

Officers have released a picture of the stolen bike – described as black and blue ‘Giant’ motorbike.

Officers are examining CCTV from the area and are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information about it, to contact @MerPolCC, call 101 or contact @CrimestoppersUK via social media or on 0800 555 111.
