CCTV images issued as part of investigation into city centre burglaries

We have issued CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to following a number of commercial burglaries in Liverpool city centre.

The burglaries occurred over the 3rd, 4th and 5th December 2018 at a restaurant on Richmond Street in Liverpool city centre.

At 10.50am on Monday 3rd December members of staff attended at Alenya Turkish restaurant and discovered a quantity of cash, an iPad, and a quantity of alcohol had been taken.

At 10.30am on Tuesday 4th December staff discovered a second break-in in which cash and alcohol was also taken.

In the early hours of Wednesday 5th December a member of staff disturbed a male in the restaurant and challenged him. The male then ran off. The member of staff was uninjured during the incident.

An investigation is underway and CCTV and forensic enquiries have been carried out.

We have issued CCTV image of a man who we believed could assist with our investigation.
