Man, 29, charged with robbery following incident at Tesco Express in Dovecot

We have charged a 29 year-old man with robbery following an incident at the Tesco Express on Princess Drive in Dovecot on Monday 5th August.

Johnathan Kelly, of Fulwood Drive, Aigburth, was also charged with possession of a bladed article.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 9th September.

A 30 year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possessing criminal property has been released under investigation.
