Man, 36, charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place

We have charged a 36 year-old man with possession of a bladed article in a public place and possession of a controlled drug Class B.

Terence Jones, of Gentwood Parade, Huyton, was stopped by officers on Dovecot Avenue in Dovecot at 12.05am today, Wednesday 28th August.

He was arrested at the scene and has been charged and released on unconditional bail to appear at Liverpool magistrates court on Thursday 12th September.
