Second man charged with murder of 15-year-old boy in Islington
Detectives investigating the murder of 15-year-old Adam Henry in Islington have charged a second man with murder.
Abdel Derdour, 22 (29.03.03), of no fixed address, was charged in the early hours of Sunday, 28 December. He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 29 December. He was arrested on Friday, 26 December.
Adam Henry died following a stabbing in Westbourne Road, Islington at 13:00hrs Tuesday, 9 December. Adam’s family continue to be supported by officers from the Met's Specialist Crime unit.
A number of other people have also been arrested as part of the investigation:
Tsidi Winion, 20 (28.08.05), of Handyside Street, Camden, was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon Monday, 15 December. He has been remanded in custody until trial, for which a date is yet to be set.
Daniel Williams, 39 (29.09.86) of Shoot-Up Hill, Camden has been remanded in custody charged with fraud, theft, dangerous driving and taking without owner’s consent. He was arrested alongside Derdour at a property in north-west London on Friday, 26 December.
Three other people – two men and a woman – arrested with Derdour at an address in north west London on Friday, 26 December, have been bailed pending further enquiries. The woman was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
