Not enough sparkle for you? The iPhone 4 is now available encrusted with diamonds.

Perhaps you think the idea of splashing out on a diamond-encrusted phone is ridiculous, in which case, you’d probably be right!  But that hasn’t stopped Liverpudlian designer Stuart Hughes from designing exactly that.

Hughes is the man behind the world’s most expensive phone, the iPhone 3GS Supreme, which was released last year and boasted 136 diamonds and 271 grams’ worth of 22 carat gold.

This year, after the launch of the iPhone 4, he’s come back with what could be the ultimate Apple iPhone 4 case – the Diamond Edition. This specially-designed handset is framed by diamonds, set along its edges, as well as the back of the handset featuring a solid diamond and platinum Apple logo.

And the cost?  Just under £13,000 – a pretty hefty price-tag for this gem!  Still, we’re sure that someone will be pushing the boat out as there are only 50 of these limited-edition gorgeousities available.
